If you belong from special Category States/UT like North-Eastern States, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar, and Lakshadweep Island then you have to pay Rs 52,000 for the same.
These Benchmark costs are all-inclusive of -
Components of Solar System (such as Solar cells, Solar inverter, switches, wires, etc)
,Mounting Structures,
Shipping charges,
Installation charges,
Maintenance charges for 5 years
All other fees & taxes etc.
*But the cost of Net metering & batteries are not included in these benchmark costs.
You have to apply at your DISCOM for changing your meter to a Solar Net Meter at your own cost. So 1kw on-grid solar system price in India is RS47000 - RS 52000 + Solar net metering Cost. Whereas 1kw off-grid solar system price in India will be Rs RS47000 - RS 52000 + Batteries cost
